All pics taken with A7r + 7 artisans 50mm f1.1 @f1.1 – f1.4

I like it alot, alot thanks to the price and size. And alot thanks to its character. You might also hate it for the very same reasons.

If you shoot it at f1.1 i think it needs editing. I add some clarity for sharpness and correct colors. CA is often aparent. sometimes to much to edit in post. Atleast not easy enough to delete. At f1.4 i dont edit them to much or to often. The jepgs are “good enough” alot of the time. Center sharpness and bokeh is alot better than it is at f1.1. Corners edges are never sharp.

With looks and size like this, at this price. If you can live with some editing and dont want/need “clinical” pictures. Buy.

Car trouble

jetSony a7r + Nokton 35mm f1.2 II

My car is breaking down again. And my father is fixing it, again. I think its tiering, i wonder what he must think. Added some highpass in PS and contrast adjustments in LR.

shot @f1.2 iso 2000 and 1/160 in a dark garage… 🙂 Not the sharpest image ever. I really like the rendering of the lens. I dont know if its because of the “Classic” feel im shooting black and white now since i got it, i had been keen on doing it befor i got it, but i havent get around to it. but now it kind of goes automatically 🙂

Bought myself a kayak a cople of days ago (witch also means i wont be getting the Voigtländer 42.5mm any time soon 🙁 ), already cought my first pike in it! 🙂 It´s not quite the same as fishing from a boat. And as for the photos, Some CA in shot nr 1, at the ” Venture Kayaks” logo. Tack-sharp as always. perhaps there is more to whine about for the geeky eye. I sure cant find it though 🙂

I have pretty much sold all my other lenses by now (Pana Leica 25, Oly 45 and the Pana 14). The 17.5mm is always on. Still have the Oly 40-150 and Samyang 7.5mm. I need those for my holydays or skiing trips in the winter. That and the low coast of the two are the only reason i still own them.

All shot with The Voigtländer Nokton 17.5mm f0.95 @f0.95 + OMD Em-5.
