Nokton Enduro shortfilm.

So here is a little clip made of mostly Nokton 42.5mm shots @f0.95.

There is 1 part shot with the 17.5mm @f0.95 and that is the second from last.

And im going to assume you will know wich parts are shot with the Samyang 7.5mm @f5.6.

All lensens connected to the Om-d Em-5 during the filming of this video. The chest mount part is shot on a Gopro Hero 3+ ( the last clip it ever made )

Apparently there is alot of buggs in the Hero3, so perhaps you should google some befor u like me, go out and buy one.

(Dont get the Sandisk Ultra, not even for the “lover end” settings)

Im not very experienced with shooting film or editing film, or settings appropriate when filming. Or anything else concerning film really…

So have that in mind if you are watching the clip. The kind of busy Bokeh of the 42.5m is quite noticeable in some shots, as perhaps

you will see, but on the other hand you dont have that opinion at all. Other then that i think it works verywell for filming.

I used a B+W ND8 for all f0.95 footage, it has a little dent in it so perhaps it shows in the clips? i dont think so but.. if you see something, its probably the filter…

Well, i gotto go out now, its 29C outside, problably warmer in here…

So here is finally a post! I have been in Bad Gastein, Austria skiing for the past week. Havent taken asmuch pics as i usually do. But here is a few!

Turned 30 just befor we left, got the Pana 12-32mm for my birthday! awesome lens. Sharp and small! Descent AF speed, cant really complain! Not for its size.

Dont really use the 40-140 much, its not as sharp as one would want, but sometimes it amazes, well if you compare it to what it usually produces. My guess is the IQ differ quite alot over the zoom range.

Im quite sick so im gonna stick it to the sofa now.

164min left on the video upload so, it might yet be a while.

So we got some snow! 😀  And its almost gone 🙁 Kind of got some skiing done before its totally gone though! Winters in mid sweden generally sucks.

Forced the deer on to our lawn for a photo shoot, easiest place to find food i guess 🙂

And for the pics.

Top 2 shots: em5+nokton 42.5mm f0.95 @f0.95 1/400 ISO 200 (The slight milky Canon 50mm f1.8 II feel is due to the dirty window im shooting through, most apparent in shot 2)

Dolly!!! :)

Finally i finished my Dolly and track! The thumb has been sitter there. well now its free. The carrige runs on a little elctric motor powerd by an AAA battery.

The track is about 170cm and it takes the camera 7min to get from side to side. Total cost is around 70 Us dollars.

(counting rail and waggon) not the tripods and “interwallomter” or whatever its called.

Its size and weight is about the same as the Em-5 without lens.

Video is shot with Samyang 7.5 and Voigtländer 17.5 & 42.5

Dont know what i did, but i messed up the Timelpase quality pretty bad when editing. I dont know much about settings for video. Sigh.

The focus “shifting” parts of the video is shot on cv 42.5. Most of the timelpase with 7.5mm, exept for the part showing the front of the trailer, thats the CV 17.5mm.

Well thats it for today! Lalters.

So here are some shots from our road trip to Norway, awesome country, insanely beautiful. For change, most of the shots are from my Samyang 7.5mm. Lovely lens, it have been kind of forgotten lately. Alot because of the Voigtländer 🙂 But with scenery like this, you gotto go wider. Colors from the Samyang is not as good as you might expect, but in post you can get it right pretty easy.

Its not like it totaly lack colors, just some saturation and contrast. Sharpness is really good. very little or no CA. Distortion, well, its a fisheye for 270Euro (in sweden). So go get one!

Couple of shots in there from the Voigtländer aswell, info under the pictures.

Its late, so i´ll go to bed.
