The trails are muddy this time of year, and icy ,but in pre-season one ain´t picky.

Em5+Nokton 42.5 f0.95 wideopen B+W ND4  iso200 shutter 1/200 handheld.

Creemy bokeh and alot of pop 🙂 if you have a look around the handlebars and the saddle in pic 1, you´ll se the everpresent CA.

Winter is coming!(?)

kayak Reed sign Wheel

So we got some frost today, a little sign that winter may be coming. (Sitting at my computer in my skiboots as im wrinting this:) )

Pics taken with Em-5 + Nokton 42.5mm. Nice colors and sharp pics, there is little CA around the top of the reed in the 2nd pic.

So i´we had both the 17.5mm and the 42.5m for a while now, still really satisfied with them! Cant wait for the 10.5mm f0.95 to hit the market! 🙂

So, I´ve hade these lenses for a time now. And my conclusion so far being that…

17.5mm has Less Coma, Less Purple CA.

42.5mm Slightly sharper (and i do mean slightly) Separation is alot better though.

About the same amount of green CA. Bokeh quality is about the same, perharps the 42.5 is a tad more busy.

But all in all, great lenses. Both of them are on the heavy side, and the 17.5mm is on the big side. I think it just tipped the scale as far as size goes, the 42.5mm feel alot more nimble.

Same same, but different.

(The ND8 used was a B+W ND8)

Hers some shots from the past week. Skiing in focus as usuall. Cleaning and waxin my skis and adjusting my bindings to my new boot. Dynafit Mercury! 🙂

Just had a few runs on an almost snowless and icy slope so far, so we will how they perform 🙂 (most likely awesome! 🙂 )

Going to Narvik in a few weeks, hope to try them out for real then!

Added a pretty CA heavy 100% crop from one of the shots.

Not a big deal when corrected, but, you will have to correct most shots if this would be of importence to you.

Well well.

Print screen from 1080p Gopro Photage.

Small Köpp tour today, mainly to try some changes to my boots and the video settings on the gopro3. Took a few shots with the 17.5mm aswell.

Gopro is really sharp and wide. Nudged it a little on the second run so thats why u see my goggles. The Phone app is really handy when choosing the angle.

Nokton 42.5mm f0.95 time killing.

Eye Lady Smoker Cow

Had some time to kill today when waiting for my number to come up at the police station (i am getting my passport renewed 😛 )

Like the topic says, they are all shot with the 42.5mm, all wide open.

Still amazed every time i use this sukker. Sharp as balls.

Sorry for the poor composition of the portrait pics, but i always get so stressed out after i ask someone if i can take their picture i loose all control.

All i try to do is nail sharpness as fast as i can and get out 😛
