Some CA in the last pic, both Purple and green, but nothing crazy to whine about.

Love the colors and beokeh of this lens more and more 🙂

And the colors of the A7r aswell ofcourse, colors are great with the other 2 lenses i own. Samyang 12mm f2.8 & Sony FE 28mm f2.

This thing is sharp (Look at the crop of my grand-mas eye! 2nd pic 🙂 ! Great bokeh and colors. Some purple CA and

some green aswell, take a look at the text on the “bottle”, but still, it´s well under control.

My patience ran out today, my ebay adapter is running late. So i taped my Minolta 50mm to the Konica mount i got last week, it turned out alright 🙂

Really want the real adapter now, this lens seem to offer ALOT of bang for the buck. (140Usd, including customs/shipment, 115Us without :/)

Great sharpness, CA is well controled and nice bokeh! 🙂

I got this lens second hand the other day, to hang on the wall really, it was around 6Us dollar?

The condition was pretty bad, but the glass was nice.

I bought an adapter of ebay for about the same price as the lens.

With all that in mind, the lense is really good. Can you see the sign in the first picture? Almost impossible?

Pretty good for a 6dollar lens wide open i would say.

And bout the noise, i forgot the iso set to 1000. witch is almost the same as the em5 has in iso 200.

Maybe iso performance of the em5 at 200 is the same as 800 on the Ar7? Just guessing though…

Lens on camera looks really good, and its not heavy at all! 🙂 (6 dollars!)

Sony A7r + Fe 28mm f2

First pic (and second) @f9 30 sec iso 100 + Nd1000 and crappy Pol-filter. Still sharp.

#1 is a 100% of the 2nd.

3rd pic @f2 iso 100.

The Sony Fe 28mm has got alot more distortion then the Voigtländer 17.5mm perhaps thats to be expected sence its wider then the CV 17.5?

Non the less, its got more. And wideopen i dont think it is as sharp either, perhaps they are pretty much equal there, because i cant seem to decide.

Maybe i´ll do some better test later on.

Em5-vikt-web Sony vikt web Sony-a7r-web Sony-a7r-web2 Sony-a7r-web3.4 Sony-a7r-web3

Em5+Nokton 17.5 pro list:

Body is smaller

IBIS

Smaler RAW files

Cheaper

Faster lens

Faster camera (scrolling through pics, zooming etc.)

10(ish) pics per sec

Better allrounder (mostly goes for the camera body)

A7r+FE 28mm pro list:

Fullframe sensor

Great dynamic range

Sharper? (By a really thin hair.)

Lighter (around 340g, the A7 strap is on the Em5 in the picture above:p)/smaller (shorter lens)

Less noise

Great colors/tones

More “pop” (Even though f0.95 = f1.9 on fullframe)

36mpix

Faster shutter speed

Lower ISO

Focus peaking

Auto Focus

And the winner is…? Dont know really. That depends on alot of things. the 12-32, 7.5mm and the 40-150 probably weighs the same togeather as 1 zoom lens does for the A7r.

For allround use, the mft system is great, there are light and small lenses. Small bodies with IBIS. Sure the never A7´s got that too but then they will be alot bigger and heavier.

The MFT system´s got the Noktons, so you can get short DOF and great sharpness. And then we have the Fullframe sensor 🙂 It has alot of cons, but also a few important pros, too some people.

Am i one of those people? i Think so… Not totally shure though.

Time will tell…
